EBV is one of the inner north’s largest and most exciting urban renewal projects. With over three hectares of well thought out architecturally designed and landscaped space and just six kilometres from Melbourne’s CBD, EBV’s vision is of a self-sustaining village where everything you need is just a short walk away
Elm Grove frames the entry to East Brunswick Village from the north through a pedestrian link – an extension of Fasterners Way to the street. The building is designed as a series of ordered concrete “frames,” giving way to the north as balconies and rooftop terraces.
Sustainable living was at the fore of the design approach. This is being achieved through a holistic commitment to offsets and renewable energy along with initiatives like: Rooftop Solar Panels, Passive Building Design, Water Efficient Fixtures and fittings, Motion and daylight sensors, Onsite Waste Management, Energy Efficient cooking, Low Toxicity Materials and Double Glazing energy efficient windows
Each building within the Village has its own unique address and story. Each has its own distinct character, look and feel that speaks to the sites past, present and future.
