Coppin Street

Located in close proximity to the Bridge Road retail precinct and set within an established residential area, the Coppin Street project finds new purpose for an abandoned industrial site.

This exercise in renewal re-invigorates the street with retail spaces, cafes and public areas. Internal covered walkways link the street to a glass roofed central public courtyard. Three buildings of up to seven levels include ground level retail, first floor commercial spaces and 145 residential apartments above. Car parking is accessed from the northern end of the site and provides over 200 car spaces.

The building’s façade is designed as a series of folded concrete plates
that wrap around the building frame layering the façade and providing
a rich sculptural form.
