Eildon Road

The design of the three multi-level townhouses was influenced by many post-war flats and the 1920’s detached homes of St. Kilda. Skillion roofs, concrete stucco walls and the rhythmic pattern of neighbouring balconies informed the design aesthetic.  A previously neglected laneway that borders the site has been transformed into a secondary street.

Each town house is unique in plan and spatially – partly due to the irregular shaped site, but also recognizing the need to offer individual solutions to each homeowner. The floor plans offer flexibility, generous balconies sit amongst the tree-tops and tall ceilings accentuate the generous internal light.
